Kathy Altermatt is an Advanced Certified Massage Therapist (California Massage Therapy Council Certificate # 858), Certified Prenatal Massage Therapist, Certified Reflexologist, and Instructor at New Life Institute of Massage Therapy. Kathy is the owner of KMA Essential Health.

Upon graduating from New Life Institute of Massage Therapy, August 2001, Kathy set her goal to assist her clients in reducing and /or eliminating pain so they may gain better quality of life for the long term. She works within the client's pain tolerance to accomplish this goal.




Kathy has completed Advanced Therapeutic Massage, Advanced Therapeutic Bodywork, Advanced Reflexology, and Prenatal Massage. She travels each year to continue her education in St. John Neuromuscular Therapy, CranioSacral Therapy, and Myofacial Release.

Kathy enjoys volunteering her massage time each year at Relay for Life.


Candice Boban, is new to KMA Essential Health. She is a Certified Massage Practitioner and specializes in relaxation and pain management therapies such as; swedish massage, deep tissue massage, aromatherapy, healing stone massage, raindrop therapy, etc. 

Candice recently completed advanced therapeutic massage training which includes: advanced swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, essential oils therapy, magnet therapy, acupressure, healing stone massage, and working with clients with special needs.
